The Opportunity
- Facilities Manager at a growth-oriented energy company

- Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Retail Construction and Maintenance, you will be providing exemplary customer service to our internal and external customers.
- Play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and smooth operation and maintenance of the company's retail store and gas station facilities.
- Have responsibilities that encompass a wide range of tasks and duties including comprehensive asset planning, facilities management, issue prioritization and response, team supervision, and budget management for retail stores and gas station operations.
- Collaboration and reporting with senior management to align with the company objectives.
- Ensure that the company's retail store and gas station facilities are well-maintained, comply with regulations, and meet operational expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Asset Planning:
- Develops and manages an annual maintenance and capital budget for the facilities
- Identifies maintenance and repair priorities, allocates funds, and ensures cost-effective resource utilization
- Monitors expenses, tracks budget performance, and prepares reports for senior management
- Facilities Management:
- Oversees the repair, maintenance, and general upkeep of fueling facilities and convenience stores
- Implements preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, equipment failure, and operational disruptions
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
- Support project management planning, scheduling, and implementation
- Assists in review, analysis, and onboarding of business partnerships
- Leads and supports coordination of facilities meetings
- Issue Prioritization and Response:
- Oversees contractor work order management system to ensure appropriate dispatch, timely work completion, and system engagement
- Receives and prioritizes facilities-related issues and requests from store managers and employees
- Responds promptly and efficiently to urgent and critical issues, minimizing disruptions to business operations
- Coordinates with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to effectively resolve facilities-related problems
- Team Supervision:
- Provides leadership and guidance to the Lead Maintenance Technician and other applicable contractors
- Sets performance expectations, conducts evaluations, and supports professional development of team members
- Collaborates with the HR department to recruit, train, and retain qualified maintenance personnel
- Site Visits and Inspections:
- Conducts regular site visits and inspections to assess project status, quality, and compliance with specifications and standards
- Monitors ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality expectations

Additional qualifications include:
- High School Diploma Required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Technical training in engineering, maintenance, and/or facilities management certification preferred
- 3 – 5 years of progressive, supervisory experience in the maintenance field
- At least 5 years of experience in retail operations, preferred
- Valid Driver’s License

Hiring Range:
The hiring range for this position is $97,189 to $145,783, plus non-discretionary bonus. The candidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
