Title:  AP Associate

The Role 

Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, you will be providing accounts payable support to the company.  As part of your specific responsibilities, in the following areas, you will: 


  • Provide accounts payable support across all of Par's scope of operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of invoices following process procedures
  • Review and resolve workflow exceptions
  • Clear communication with customer base (vendors, procurement, business contacts)  
  • Upon assignment of vendor inquiry, communicate and resolve according to procedures, proper escalation when assistance is needed.
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain a clean work environment

The Requirements 

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To be a good fit for the Accounts Payable Associate opportunity, you will have:


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Must be proficient with MS Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Experience in SAP required
  • Oil & Gas/Energy industry experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form and to collaborate and build positive rapport with all levels of staff and management across functional areas
