The Opportunity 

  • Recruiting Operations Coordinator at a growth-oriented energy company

  • Influence and execute the Talent Acquisition processes
  • Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition & Employee Services, you have an opportunity to offer exemplary customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and HR team members in Texas, Montana, Washington, Wyoming, and Hawaii

 

Key activities include:

  • Create and open Job Requisitions in Navigator
  • Support the candidate experience from interview until their first day of work
  • Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding with HR team members
  • Schedule interviews, hotel, flights, and rental car reservations, launch background checks, coordinate pre-employment drug screens, arrange travel and site visits
  • Process interview expense reimbursements to candidates
  • Send pre-adverse and adverse action letters when necessary
  • Ensure the quality of both the candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Promote engagement and satisfaction throughout interview process
  • Use systems and tools such as an HRIS, specifically SuccessFactors, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Interact with third party service providers such as background check vendors, drug testing labs, travel services, third party job boards, and state workforce postings
  • Support compliance activities and projects

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. 

 

Additional qualifications include:   

  • Ability to work in office Monday through Thursday required. Remote work option on Friday
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience to include administrative work and/or customer service required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Experience demonstrating professionalism in interacting with teammates and customers required
  • Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality required
  • Strong computer skills required, intermediate ability in MS Office Suite applications, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Experience creating interview itineraries and sending calendar invites using Microsoft Outlook
  • Impeccable time-management skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including knowing when in-person, telephone, email, texting, messaging, or a combination of all the above is appropriate or necessary required
  • Professional and persistent follow-up skills required
  • An organized approach and attention to detail required
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, dependability and accountability preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize work preferred
  • Ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and to help others determine a course of action preferred
  • The ability to work independently and interdependently preferred
  • A drive to improve both process and strategy preferred
