Title:  Sr. Solution Architect - Supply Chain and Maintenance

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Solutions, you will be responsible for the deployment and support of Par Pacific’s accounting and finance processes. This role will be responsible for owning SAP finance functionality, partnering with the business to understand their requirements, facilitate design decisions, and system configuration.

 

As part of your specific responsibilities, you will:

 

  • Be responsible for architecting and designing SAP solutions to meet business requirements through leading solution design sessions with the Refining and Procurement Organizations
  • End to end responsibility for the SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) suite: PS, SM, PM, QM, MM, PP in SAP S4 Hana and SAP ECC environment
  • Define functional requirements for application development, own the solution design, and partner with development resources to create and maintain RICEF objects.
  • Manage production support and troubleshoot issues working with Par Pacific’s external support partners.
  • Define and review test plans and outcomes to validate solution meets design and business requirements.

 

 

The Opportunity 

  • The role will focus on providing design and support of Par Pacific’s SAP ECC environment.

 

The Requirements 

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To be a good fit for the Sr. Solution Architect opportunity, you will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field
  • Seven years hands on experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery within Plant Maintenance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Understanding of SAP modules such as MM, PM, and cloud systems such as Ariba
  • Hands on experience in configurating and supporting SAP integrations with 3rd party applications like Ariba, Innovaptive, and others.
  • Knowledge of upstream and downstream master data impacts
  • Certifications in SAP Activate methodology and Agile Project Management
