We are also proud of our family-oriented environment and close-knit culture. If that describes you, you'll fit right in!

Keys to Success

If you need extensive structure to achieve goals, this may not be the position for you. There is a good deal of change underway, and while it is positive, change can be challenging. Not only will you need to be agile and adaptable to ensure your own success, but you also will help lead change. That means you'll need to influence and motivate others -- from Operators and Mechanics to senior executives -- to embrace new initiatives and processes.

For the most part, you will focus on individual responsibilities and we'll look to you to work autonomously, including taking the initiative to identify and respond to issues and opportunities. Of course, you will need to interact extensively with internal and external contacts, and you'll also contribute to Health & Safety team efforts.

In addition, in order to be an outstanding Safety Coordinator, you will:
  • Manage multiple projects, activities and priorities effectively.
  • Promote strong communication among all parties, and practice strong follow-up and follow-through habits.
  • Make sound decisions even when you don't have all the information you would like to have.
  • Bring a customer service approach to working with employees, managers and contractors.
  • Be approachable and easy to talk to, earning the trust and respect of others.
