Security Coordinator

  • Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will provide exemplary customer service to our visitors, employees, contractors, and leaders. 

 

Key activities include: 

  • Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all security operations at Par facilities to protect personnel, critical infrastructure, hazardous materials and company assets. 

  • Ensure compliance with refinery safety standards, government regulations, and emergency response requirements while maintaining a secure operating environment. 

  • Responsible for facilities access system administration and alarm monitoring to include Transportation Worker’s Identification Credentials (TWIC). 

  • Coordinate Maritime Security Level system (MARSEC) used by the U.S. Coast Guard and maritime industry to communicate the current security threat level and what protective measures should be in place, to include training and update reports 

  • Manage day-to-day security operations, including access control, perimeter security and patrols 

  • Monitor and operate security systems including Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), access control, intrusion detection and alarm systems  

  • Respond to and manage security incidents, Send Word Now notifications, emergencies and alarms, including spills, fire incidents, sabotage and/or unauthorized access. 

  • Liaison with local law enforcement, government agencies and emergency services 

  • Serve as Facilities Site Officer (FSO) alternate

  • Respond to after-hour calls and work as needed.

Qualifications 

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship To comply with the regulations at this work location, successful applicants must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).   • High School Diploma or equivalent required 

  • Associate degree preferred  

  • Experience with industrial security systems preferred 

  • Strong leadership, coordination and communication skills 

  • Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude 

  • Supervisory experience preferred 

  • Proficient computer skills in applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License with acceptable Driver’s Abstract record 

  • This is an onsite position in Kapolei

Hiring Range: 

The hiring range for this position is $86,400-$102,600 plus non-discretionary bonus. The candidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
