Human Resources Coordinator
The Opportunity
- Human Resources Coordinator at a growth-oriented downstream energy company
- You'll play an essential role in supporting more than 30 retail locations and helping create a workplace where employees can thrive.

- Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the HR Coordinator position will provide administrative support in all functions of the human resource department.
Key activities include:
- Provide human resources support for employees on a wide range of HR tasks and projects
- Responsible for compliance in all personnel files to include Employee Records, Medical, Benefits, Worker’s Comp, Reports, I-9 E-Verify and Voluntary Identification files
- Perform payroll function to include timesheets, personnel transactions, payroll requests, adjustments and audits
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate Human Resource Information System (HRIS), such as processing employee updates and changes and generating various reports
- Administer employee leave to include FMLA, HFLL, TDI, LTD and Worker’s Compensation
- Assist employees with daily inquiries, verification of employment, service awards and policies
- Conduct Exit Interviews and off boarding of employees
- Adopt, participate, and comply with company policies, procedures and safety programs
- Responsible for generating requisitions, processing bills and invoices for HR vendors
- Always keep personnel issues and other information confidential
- Build strong working relationships with organizational leaders
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Additional qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ human resources experience required
- Ability to work in office Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm required
- Strong understanding of HR Law including FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, EEOC, ADEA preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize according to management directives preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, and creativity preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) preferred
- Experience working with various applications and databases preferred

Hiring Range:
The hiring range for this position is $66,915 to $87,825, plus discretionary bonus. The candidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
